Tenuta Sant’Antonio | Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Campo dei Gigli 2018
TenutaSantAntonio-Amarone-Campo_dei_Gigli Campo dei Gigli is our land: I still remember the efforts to raise vines on the Garbi Mountains, where we were the only ones to believe in the potential of that extraordinary limestone and mineral hill. Today our Amarone is a symbol, immediately distinguishable: the fruit of our history, which we give to the world through this bottle.

Tasting notes

The 2018 vintage is characterized by an elegance given by grapes that have breathed fresh mountain air in the first months of vegetation of the plant, to then concentrate sugars and aromas at mild and then hot temperatures, between the months of July and August. A structured wine, designed to express itself in its color ruby red with purple reflections, the typical wild red fruits with an inevitable woody touch.

The iconic mineral hints are then combined with aromas of licorice, black pepper, tobacco, spices and chocolate typical of our terroir and ancient vineyard. In the mouth the flavor is balanced and very intense, persistent, which rewards elegant and silky drinkability.
